An Homage to Individuality

We had this provocative “golden trio” from August & Piers London gifted to us by a dear friend and we burnt them at the studio simultaneously – spread out throughout different rooms in the space. Muse, Saint and Libertine make for a fun self indulgence. The company’s philosophy invites us to embrace ourselves as individuals and honor the brilliance of all our quirks.

When opening these candle packages you are greeted with a quote on self love, which you can see in the image above. This set is a great homage to individuality and teamwork, homogenous to who we are at Studio Heimat. These luxury candles are made with a blend of soy, bee and rapeseed which is 100% natural and paraffin-free and cotton wicks. Let’s break them down!!

Muse | Bergamot • Benzoin • Vanilla

The Muse candle is meant to Inspire and mesmerize. With this fragrant masterpiece of Bergamot, Benzoin, and voluptuous Vanilla. A stimulating scent to be idolized and adored. As you ignite the wick, an irresistible essence of bergamot’s citrus scent  is perfectly paired with the creamy smell of benzoin and vanilla, and is released into  the air, gracing your nose with its invigorating aroma.

Saint | Fig • Cassis • Orange Blossom

The Saint candle is supposed to help you radiate your goodness into the world with its truly virtuous offering of sweet Fig, Cassis and angelic Orange Blossom. A scent from the heavens for a true angel.

The wax in this luxury scented candle is a blend of soy, bee and rapeseed which is 100% natural and paraffin-free, and the wicks of each candle are made of natural cotton. These candles also contain on average 100g more wax than other brands.

Our Two Scents

Overall our team had mixed reviews about each candle, understandably so, when you have people of all walks of life with different likes and preferences. Overall the Libertine fragrance had an overall rating of 7.7,  The Saint 7.9 and the Muse was of the most liking with a rating of 8/10. This “Golden Trio” is a great gift and a good option for a home with multiple individuals as it allows you to enjoy a range of different scents, from the sweet uplifting orange blossom to rich smoky wood – something that will please a wide range of crowds and can also appeal to shifts in individual moods, enabling you to match each fragrance to the perfect occasion.
